Open Rehearsals

Before joining, potential chorus members are invited to try us out by singing with us at the first few rehearsals of each semester. Auditions are not required; however, new singers must be able to read music.

Rehearsal Location and Time

Rehearsals are held 7:30 to 9:30 pm on Tuesday nights, from September until our Spring concert in mid-May. The location is Clark Hall at Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA. Clark Hall is a large meeting room on the second floor, behind the church sanctuary; it is accessible by stairs and by elevator. Parking is behind the church or along Mass Ave.

Dues  

Our dues schedule is:

• $210/year    Discounted annual rate, if received by the Saturday before the first rehearsal (existing members) or by the final open rehearsal date (new members)

• $225/year    Annual rate     

• $115/term   Half-year rate, paid in fall or spring

• $60/term      Student discounted half-year rate

Dues can be paid by check (payable to Lexington Pops Chorus and mailed to: Lexington Pops Chorus, c/o  Susan Osten, 8 Revere Street, Lexington, MA 02420)  or online (additional service charge applies).

Concert Location

We usually perform our concerts in the Sanctuary of Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA. Due to ongoing construction at Hancock Church, our January 2026 concert may be performed at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 55 Coolidge Ave, Lexington, MA.
